Discharged!

After a successful surgery and a lengthy and difficult recovery, Noah has finally been discharged from Children's Hospital.  Donor Ember also has been released from Brigham and Women's Hospital. Noah continues to do well with his new kidney and is monitored by the kidney team several times weekly.  The family will stay close by for the next week.

A heartfelt thank you to all who have supported our family during Noah's journey!

A Forever Connection!

Noah's new kidney continues to function wonderfully and he has been transitioned out of the ICU to a private room.  Ember was able to visit him today after discharge from Brigham and Women's.  Noah will be at Children's Hospital for the next few weeks and we will keep you informed as he progresses. Thanks so much for the prayers - they are working!

Success!

Ember and Noah are both doing well. Noah had a rough night and had to be sedated but is now resting comfortably in the ICU. Noah's new kidney is doing amazingly well and has removed all of the toxins from his body overnight. Before surgery, his Creatinine was 6.9 and his BUN was in the high 80's. Today's labs came back with Noah's Creatinine at 0.2 and his BUN at 8!

Ember, we are forever grateful. We would like to thank everyone for their love, support, and prayers. We are truly blessed!
